People on all of these Paths profess to cherish the Earth which sustains us. This is the science. It's not a matter of opinion; the facts support these conclusions.
So the time has come to take a long hard look at the people we actually are versus the people we profess to be. Are we living our Paths, or just giving lip service to them? Are we making radical changes to live sustainable, or are we scrambling for justifications and rationalizations that will absolve us for not doing so? We have dawdled too long; there is no more time to procrastinate. Either we make the necessary changes now, or we doom ourselves and all future generations to extinction.
The following people are sources of inspiration, providing examples of what we can do if we set our minds and hearts to it:
It isn't too late, but we're almost out of time. Take a few minutes right now to go out into Nature and savour the beauty of the land, the sea, and the sky. Are these things worth fighting and sacrificing for? Is it worth changing to live to see them tomorrow?

It is easier to lend one's energies to a movement that already has momentum and press going for it, than it is to start from scratch later on. Please read the following article and consider how you might lend your support:
Brother Myrddin and I will be looking for opportunities to lend our energies at both a physical and metaphysical level. We hope you will join us in doing so, and that you will post about your experiences here.

Evidence for Climate Change/Earth Changes:
The following links, articles, and information support the supposition that our climate and planet are undergoing dramatic changes that are unlike anything in the existing historical or the known geological record:
Hurricanes originating from Midwestern/Southern N. American thunderstorms:
[Hurricane Forecast Map at NOAA website (07-07-19)]. Five days from now the chances of this low in the TN Valley becoming a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico rises from 1% to 40-50%. In the NW and Mid-Atlantic, hurricanes have always been defined as originating with storms in Africa. This is the first time we've seen a potential Tropical Storm identified as originating in the middle of the N American continent. It's also the first time we've seen a large weather system drop all the way down from TN to the Gulf of Mexico.
Things to contemplate...
UPDATE: Three days later (07/10/19), the certainty of this system becoming a tropical depression or storm by mid-week has now risen to 90%.

This is a very scary prospect. One thing that made living in Fl bearable was having days warning of hurricane coming to prepare. If they start inland, how much warning? How quickly could they form and move? For me that is what makes tornados so scary and dangerous, one has scant minutes to prepare and be safe.

It appears folks may now have just 4-5 days notice, at best, if/when the storms originate in the American Midwest or South... but of course, the implication is that the amount of warning will depend upon how fast the system is moving down into the Gulf. This particular system is moving slowly, but the potential is there for them to move and develop much more quickly. So yes... scary.

Humanity's Existential Crisis
Druids are spiritual metaphysicians/physicists, which means we view life through the lens of science informed by spirit. We exist to serve our communities as spiritual counsellors and metaphysical specialists. The Druid motto ("The Truth Against the World") demands that we seek and uphold Truth, even when Truth stands opposed to popular beliefs, opinions, and policies. What is true of all Druids, is also true of us.
Therefore, based on a preponderance of scientific evidence, the evidence of our Dreaming, and the evidence of our own senses, we attest that climate change, environmental degradation and destruction, and the 6th mass extinction, are real, and are now being driven by human activities. We assert that it is possible to stop the total destruction of our planet and to mediate the impact of the current extinction event --but only if we each take a stand, make the necessary commitment, arm ourselves with science-based facts, and make the necessary changes to our economies and lifestyles. This will demand a sustained effort over a long period; it will also require peaceful collaboration, which will require us to eradicate class, racial, religious, and cultural barriers.
It is time to stop rationalizing inaction by telling ourselves that change is impossible. Change is always hard, but it is NEVER impossible. Nothing is impossible if we make a real commitment and work together. The technical know-how and most of the necessary technology already exists. What is lacking is WILL. The will to persist, to acknowledge advances and address mistakes, and to do even more.
This year, a sixteen-year-old girl started a worldwide youth movement, which has since inspired adult movements that have been fighting for change. And they are succeeding. With more active support, they can succeed further. This month, a sixteen-year-old girl found a way to travel sustainably from Sweden to the New World in order to deliver a message to us. She wants us to panic; to shake ourselves out of our lethargy, our laziness, to step out of our disengaged, self-involved comfort zones and get involved in saving ourselves by saving the planet. Greta Thunberg is not a saviour; only we can save us from ourselves. But she is a messenger, and as such, she and her message are sacred.
If you care about helping to resolve this crisis, then take this opportunity to let Greta inspire you and reignite your passion and your belief that you can be the change you seek. That is her purpose in coming here. Our purpose is to fulfil our own destinies in this matter. We each have a role to play in this unfolding crisis; every voice, every action matters.

To those who persist in claiming that climate activist Gret Thunberg makes good news, but isn't achieving anything because "nothing can be done" by average people, I offer this article from The Guardian newspaper:
Obviously, one article will not stop climate crisis deniers from denying the facts, because the people driving the denial are financial addicted to fossil fuels and plastics. They will never accept the science, because they would rather die than lose money (or to put it more accurately, they would rather you die than that they should lose money). And they are not taking the public awakening lying down. They have a new strategy for creating more climate crisis deniers, as this article illustrates:
That the basic arguments presented here are true should be manifestly evident to anyone who has been observing world events and news impartially. The question is, are we thinking about how to counter and confront these specious arguments, or just hoping someone else will tackle it?
